Health trends in the UK have seen a rapidly increasing demand from retailers for more informed front-of-pack labelling, such as declarations of reduced salt and fat, 'free from' and organic.
BAKELS has responded to this trend by introducing a range of clean-label products, which includes powdered bread, roll and bun improvers (including a Soil Association certified organic version), sunflower shortening and a ready-to-use bun glaze. These products also use non-hydrogenated fats.
