Sales strong for Finsbury

Sales remain strong for Finsbury Foods according to a trading update released on 2 July, in advance of the company entering its close period.
The company has said it is pleased to confirm excellent growth in all its subsidiaries, with sales from the second half of the year much higher than prior year comparisons.The figures reveal sales for Lightbody Cakes are up 11% year-on-year (10% in the second half) Memory Lane Cakes Ltd sales have increased by 11% (6% in the second half) and California and Campbell Cakes combined, are up 14% (11% in the second half). Nicholas and Harris Ltd saw an increase of 19% (22% in the second half) and comparing the second half of the year to the first half, average weekly sales from United Central Bakeries have risen by 17%.
