There are only three weeks left to get your entries in to the National Cupcake Championships 2013.

The professional competition is designed for any bakery businesses that produce cupcakes, whether a big or small part of your sales.

All you have to do is submit a recipe, photo of your cupcake and brief description of your business.

You can enter a maximum of one recipe in each of the four categories - so a maximum of four entries into the competition overall.

Recipes will need to fit our Themed, Classic, Free-from or Made with Alcohol category criteria, which can be found on our website http://www.nationalcupcakeweek.co.uk/page/competitions.html.

The look and design of the cupcake is obviously very important, but it must taste great too, and technically be a good cake.

Winning can really help boost sales of your cupcakes, as well as your business profile, with past winners appearing in both local and national press, and even on BBC’s The One Show.

You can find out all about the competition, and how you could be crowned the ulimate cupcake champion at www.nationalcupcakeweek.co.uk.

Shortlisted finalists will receive a free ticket to the Cake International Show, NEC Birmingham on 9 November, where our live final will be held.
