Bristol firm Pieminister has released a Brazil-inspired pie in time for this year’s Football World Cup.
Called the Brazilian, its flavour is based on the host country’s Feijoada stews and contains free-range British chicken, chorizo, black beans and sweet potato in a tomato sauce with chipotle chilli and paprika.
The Brazilian pie will be available for wholesale from 19 May and throughout the tournament (12 June to 13 July 2014).
