Bakers take the ice bucket challenge

29 August, 2014

It’s the viral craze that is sweeping the world - from celebs to bakers.

Mike Holling, the executive director of the Craft Bakers’ Association (CBA), got the ball rolling for the baking industry when he took the plunge.

He pledged his money to the Make A Wish Charity, which is this year being supported by Craft Bakers’ Week and nominated George Fuller, of Fullers Quality Bakers, Dee Cassey of California Raisins and Martyn Leek, editor of British Baker.

Undaunted, Martyn Leek has taken the challenge too. See who he nominates and the video of CBA chief Holling taking the plunge below.

If you want to take the ice bucket challenge you can donate to the Motor Neurone Disease Association here: www.mndassociation.org/get-involved/donations
