The Great British Bake Off host Mary Berry has been made a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Bakers and been granted the freedom of the City of London.

The recognition comes two months after she was made an honorary liveryman.

The 79-year-old was presented the accolade at a prestigious ceremony at the Guildhall in London.

Attendees were given a Q&A with the star, told she had been in business for 40 years and had written 80 books.
