The Great Sausage Roll Off at The Red Lion pub, Barnes, London will be back for its third year on 28 January.

Chefs from London and beyond have been invited to create the ultimate sausage roll, to be judged by food critic judge Charles Campion of Masterchef and a panel including Edd Kimber, the first winner of the BBC Two series The Great British Bake Off 2010.

The competition, which will be covered on Twitter, involves entrants rolling and cooking 10 sausage rolls, live, in allocated time slots in the pub kitchen then serving them up not only to the judges but also the crowd.

Last year’s competition was won by Chris Brumby from Ben’s Canteen based in Battersea with his All Day Breakfast Sausage Roll with Bloody Mary Shot.

The Great Sausage Roll 2015 is still accepting entries. For more information and to apply, visit: www.red-lion-barnes.co.uk/rolloff
