Artisan bakery chain Gail’s has appointed AJ Steer of Jamie’s Italian, as its new operations director.
Steer joined the business late last year after two-and-a-half years at Jamie’s Italian as regional director.
His appointment comes as the company leads up to the opening of its latest site on Abbeville Road, Clapham, London.
The bakery is launching a new breakfast menu soon, which includes brioche French toast with maple bacon.
It is also refurbishing its stores in Hampstead and Crouch End, which open again on Monday (2 February).
