The Federation of Bakers (FoB) is now offering a free copy of its publication A Baker’s Dozen, to be downloaded online.

The second edition of the title supplies advice to bakeries about health and safety.

A Baker’s Dozen was first published as guidance from the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as HSG 233 in 2003, but it then decided it would leave other stakeholders in the industry to deal with specific sector advice on health and safety.

The FoB has revised guidance for the baking sector, and other members of the Federation’s Health & Safety Committee, The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and other stakeholders have all contributed to the production of the revised publication.
