Pasty company Proper Cornish Group has appointed two senior personnel to focus on increasing sales and turnover. 

Kevin Pugsley has joined the group, which incorporates the UK’s leading handmade Cornish Pasty producer Proper Cornish and Cornish artisan biscuit manufacturer Furniss. As senior commercial manager he will focus on driving sales across foodservice and wholesale outlets.

A qualified chef, Pugsley’s CV includes posts at Heinz, Canterbury Foods, CP Foods and most recently, convenience food giant Greencore.

David Willcocks has taken the position of commercial manager and is taregted with fgrowing the company’s £13.4m turnover. His expertise is in B2B sales in the retail, foodservice, manufacturing and wholesale channels. His experience includes Somerfields, Gerber Juice Company, Hall and Woodhouse and Eurilait.
