Cookie Crumbles is set for expansion following its appointment of Blakemore Fine Foods as a distributor of its baking mix range.

The London-based company will showcase its products at the Farm Shop & Deli Show (20 to 22 April) at the NEC in Birmingham, which is organised by William Reed Business Media.

Carola Weymouth, founder of Cookie Crumbles, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Blakemore Fine Foods. This represents an exciting next step in our growth. We look forward to extending our reach across the UK and boosting our presence in further high-quality retail outlets.

“We’re starting to work with Blakemore Fine Foods at an exciting time in their own development with their new online systems, making it straightforward for producers and trade customers alike.”

Patrice Garrigues, trading controller at Blakemore Fine Foods, said: “We’re very impressed with the high-quality baking mixes from Cookie Crumbles. The baking mixes are a welcome addition to our product range. Our team offers a personal and tailored approach and we’re very pleased to be supporting Cookie Crumbles on their growth path.

“We’d like to welcome visitors to come and see us and Cookie Crumbles on our stand Q71 and Q78 at the Farm Shop and Deli Show at the end of April.”

Cookie Crumbles was founded as the UK’s first cookery school for children and run by Weymouth, who is a professionally trained chef. The company then launched a baking mix, which has grown to include six varieties, such as cinnamon, white chocolate and cranberry muffin; granola energy bar mix; and blueberry and vanilla muffin mix.

The mixes are hand-blended and packaged in Yorkshire, are 100% natural and include seeds, wholemeal wheat flour and grains, mostly sourced in the UK. They retail at an RRP of £4.50.
