Peterís launches family-sized pies as part of an £800k investment

Following an £800k investment, Peterís Pies has launched family-sized versions of its most popular pies, in a bid to appeal to families.

Peterís Pies, part of the Caerphilly-based Peterís Foods, has launched a 500g deep-filled version of its corned beef, and minced beef and onion puff-pastry topped pies. The company hopes this will appeal to families, as the smaller versions market as snack or lunchtime options.

James Osgood, commercial director for Peterís, said: ďConsumers love Peterís puff pastry pies and we wanted to help families Ďmake a mealí of them. We are confident that these larger products, which have been developed as part of an £0.8million investment, will have mass appeal across Wales.Ē

Founded in the 1950s, the business has a range of over 900 lines. The family-sized pies are now available in selected Tesco stores across Wales.
