04 August, 2016

Lancashire based- craft bakery, Clayton Park Bakery has recalled some of its sausage roll products with a Best Before date of 3 and 4 August as they may contain plastic.

James Hall and Co Ltd, the company which owns Clayton Park Bakery, has issued a recall notice to relevant bakery stores, as well as Spar stores in north England and north Wales which also sold the products.

The recalled details of the products are: the large pack of sausage rolls at 143g, 2 Pack Sausage Rolls at 236g, 3 Pack Sausage Rolls at 354g and 16 Pack Mini Sausage Rolls sold at Spar stores at 472g.

The presence of plastic could make these products unsafe to eat and presents a risk to health for consumers.
