High street coffee chain Starbucks has announced its Christmas sandwich range, as well as the return of its fast-becoming-traditional festive red cups.

From a brand new Festive Veggie Feast Baguette to the Turkey & Maple Bacon Sandwich, the range will be available to eat in-store or on-the-go.

The Turkey & Maple Bacon Sandwich is layered with pork, sage & onion stuffing and potato hash, topped with sweet potato and pumpkin purée and cranberry sauce, and served with fresh spinach on thick rye bread. It costs £3.29 to take away or £3.89 to eat in.

The Festive Veggie Feast Baguette contains warm, roasted butternut squash and pieces of creamy brie, served with a sage & onion stuffing, topped with fresh cranberry sauce and real ale chutney, wrapped in a crusty baguette. Take away and eat in from £3.99.

Also on offer is a Roast Beef & Blue Cheese Brioche Baguette, made with medium-rare topside of beef and a blue cheese sauce, mustard and ale chutney wrapped in a soft brioche roll. Customers can ask for it to be served slightly toasted for a warming treat. Take away and eat in from £3.99.

And to complete the range there’s the Turkey Feast Baguette, with pulled turkey and maple-cured, smoked bacon. It comes with stuffing and is topped with a creamy Béchamel sauce, chicken gravy and fried onions, priced from £3.99.

The new sandwiches and the red cups will be available in stores from the beginning of November.

In August Starbucks signed a deal with Connswater shopping centre in Belfast to open its first-ever drive-thru store in Northern Ireland.
