Former Shuga Budz baker goes solo

05 November, 2013

Andrea Jackson has left Shuga Budz to pursue her own cake business.

Choosing to depart when the Wolverhampton cake business relocated to a larger premises in September, Jackson said the timing was right.

She said: I had been thinking about doing it for a while. It was the right time to spread my wings and give it a go myself.

Founding her own cake business, Fantasticake, Jackson is working from home in a cake kitchen in her garage.

A few years down the road Id like to have premises, and Ill probably look towards Telford, as I think theres a gap in the market there. For now, the plan is to build up a customer base from home, and outgrow my home situation.

The business will offer bespoke, decorated cakes for every occasion.
