Krispy Kreme revamps selected stores

Doughnut retailer, Krispy Kreme, is revamping the design at several of its cafe/retail outlets.

The thought behind the spruce-up is for the stores to be brighter, sharper and more appealing to customers, as reported British Bakerís sister title M&C Report.

Outlets to receive investment so far include St Davidís Shopping Centre in Cardiff, the St Georgeís Shopping Centre in Preston, and thecentre:mk in Milton Keynes.

The company, backed by the Alcuin Capital Partners, is on an expansion drive with plans to reach 100 sites by 2016.

Krispy Kreme is targeting Scotland since opening a factory shop in Edinburgh in February last year. It operates more than 50 sites across the UK and is looking for more retail opportunities in Scottish towns and cities.
