The time is nearly upon us. Not only is Christmas not far away, but for most of our members it is time for subscription renewal. Members who use us regularly and read all the information sent to them know what the association can provide over other subscription-based companies.

The NAMB works solely for you, the craft baker, not "other" businesses on the high street. Our only interest is how we can help our members run their firms in the most efficient way. Page 3 details the services we now offer our members over and above any other problem that may come their way. Recently, members have needed advice on the following;

l Road closures (forcing a loss of business)

l HSE visits (and the paperwork that this involves)

l Bread weights

l Energy bills

Plus, you receive free copies of British Baker and cover for tax and investigation claims (again free with your membership accountants can charge upwards of 300 for this service). We are also finalising a deal with HSBC for members to receive preferential rates on bank charges.
