Foodservice provider Country Choice is rolling out two new cheese twists.
Made using croissant pastry with a cheese filling, the new products are a traditional Cheddar Cheese Twist and an American-inspired Monterey Jack Cheese and Smoked Paprika Twist.
The twists weigh in at 115g and have an rsp of £1.19 each or two for £2. Designed for on-the-go consumption, retailers simply have to bake them for 18-20 minutes – they can then be displayed up to 12 hours on the bakery fixture.
Retailers can buy the Cheddar Twists in cases of 52 and the Monterey Jack variety in cases of 60.
Kent-based Country Choice offers a range of chilled and hot food-to-go items, such as sandwiches, hotdogs and pizza, alongside a selection of pastries including sausage rolls, turnovers and pies.
In 2016, it partnered with petrol station brand Jet on a new coffee and snack concept which saw Country Choice bakery items sold across the forecourt network.
