CSM Bakery Solutions has redesigned its Craigmillar cake mix packaging to make it easier for bakers to store.
Madeira Cake Mix, Chocolate Cake Mix, Complete Sponge Mix, and Plain Crème Cake Mix (see full list below) are among the products that are now being sold in bags rather than boxes in a bid to help bakers save space. The packaging also has an updated design which CSM said is to “reflect the high quality of the products”.
Colour-coded labels have been introduced for the mixes allowing for easier identification – blue for traditional, red for American, green for doughnut and purple for scone – with each containing detailed recipe information, said CSM.
The move comes after the brand refreshed some of its Craigmillar cake mixes at the start of the year. Improved volume, colour, moistness, texture and flavour were listed among the benefits of the updated recipes by CSM.
