The Real Bread Campaign is urging London bakers to enter their best loaves by today’s deadline as part of its latest bakery competition.

The Campaign has teamed up with The Jellied Eel magazine, a publication by the charity Sustain, for The Londoner’s Loaf competition. It aims to find the Capital’s favourite loaf of Real Bread, as chosen by Londoners.

Bakeries must nominate one of their best real breads, with Londoners voting for their favourite. The loaves with the most votes will go to a panel of experts, with The Londoners’ Loaf being crowned at the Real Bread Festival on Southbank on 5-7 October.

London bakeries have until today (4 July) to enter their loaves and the public vote will run from 9 July to 13 August at thejelliedeel.org.
