Members of the Shuga Budz Bakery team from Wolverhampton will be live on stage at this year’s Bakers’ Fair Autumn.

Amelia Nutting, a former Baking Industry Award winner in the Celebration Cake Maker of the Year category, and Andrea Campbell Jackson will be hosting a Christmas-themed demonstration.

As part of a programme of live presentations taking place at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate on Sunday, 7 October, the Shuga Budz team will be showing attendees how to create a shaped celebration cake featuring a series of comical festive characters made of sugarpaste.

Nutting told British Baker: "We are going to be producing something traditional but fun that will be in the Shuga Budz style that will stand out. It’s a great opportunity to get creative and show off your skills as a baker."

Nutting and the Shuga Budz team will also be taking part in the Live Challenge Cup competition at Bakers’ Fair Autumn this year, in which entrants must be invited by the Richemont Club of Great Britain and the National Association of Master Bakers.

Bakers’ Fair Autumn, organised by British Baker, welcomes Shaun Williamson, also known as Barry from TV soap Eastenders, as its special guest at this year’s event.

This year’s event includes a range of exhibitors from across the bakery and food-to-go industry, who will be showcasing new and existing products to improve product quality and business performance.
