Clayton Park Bakery has rebranded its packaging, with a new look being rolled out across its lines over the coming months.

The new design is focused on promoting its Lancashire heritage and craft-baked approach, said the firm.

The packaging also contains additional information on allergens, in line with the new EU regulations coming into force in December 2014.

The first products to be rebranded were its four-packs of hot cross buns.

Barry Thomas, managing director, Clayton Park Bakery, said: “We are excited by the new packaging and hope it will be well received and instantly recognisable for our customers.

“The new packaging also reflects the changes the company is making in terms of continued growth and extended product range.”

The bakery recently made a multi-million-pound investment in a second unit near its Accrington head office to increase production of its morning goods.
