Ice cream and desserts operator Baskin-Robbins has revealed plans to open four sites at Welcome Break motorway service stations, along with one Dunkin’ Donuts.

Under the agreement, Baskin-Robbins shops will be added to four Welcome Break sites in the coming weeks, and Dunkin’ Donuts baked goods will be added to one motorway service area as well.

Jim Johnstone, general manager, UK, for Dunkin’ Brands, said:  “We’re excited to partner with Welcome Break, one of the largest independent motorway service operators in the country, to bring Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts products to their customers.

“We look forward to serving travellers Baskin-Robbins’ ice cream, sundaes and frozen beverages, as well as Dunkin’ Donuts baked goods, at these select locations, and hope to potentially expand this partnership to include additional Welcome Break motorway service areas in the future.”

Rod McKie, chief executive of Welcome Break, said: “We’re pleased to partner with Dunkin’ Brands to bring two of the world’s most loved restaurant brands, Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts, to select Welcome Break locations across the UK.
