Today marks a week until the long-awaited Baking Industry Awards (BIA) - the baking industry’s answer to the Oscars!

The 27th annual awards will be hosted by comedy star Hugh Dennis, known for his roles in sitcom Outnumbered and panel show Mock the Week.

Taking place at the Park Lane Hilton on Wednesday 10 September, the eager finalists will await to see who will be crowned winner in each category.

This year’s evening is themed around the ‘Best of British’ - aptly so as the night will be host to some of Britain’s best bakers and bakery contenders.
