Andrew Ingredients has invested £750k in new facilities, which it will open in line with its 70 years of business celebrations.
The Irish company has extended its warehouse facility and has opened a new test bakery and kitchen at its site in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
The warehouse extension includes four loading bays and a refrigeration unit, while the test bakery will offer customers the opportunity to develop and try out products.
The company stated it had grown business 33% across Ireland, since it moved to its current site in 2011.
Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Jonathan Bell said: “Andrew Ingredients is an ambitious, export- focused business and its impressive new warehouse facilities and test bakery and kitchen will support this successful family-run firm’s future growth plans.
“I would encourage Andrew Ingredients to continue working with Invest NI to explore opportunities in new markets, as well as investing in skills training and R&D to remain competitive in the years ahead.”
The company will also be holding a two-day event to celebrate its 70th year of trading, where there will be product demonstrations, sampling, seminars, and promotions.
Andrew Ingredients was founded in 1945 in Belfast, and is now run by managing director Tim Andrew.
