Jaffa Orange Cakes recalled

A batch of E. Wedel Supreme Jaffa Orange Cakes has been recalled as some packs contain milk, which is not mentioned on the packaging.
The company JJ Support Limited recalled the products from customers, and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
The product contains a milk ingredient not mentioned on the packaging, meaning it poses a potential health risk to those with an allergy or intolerance to milk.
The E. Wedel brand is based in Poland, and is known for its chocolate products.
The Jaffa Cakes and other biscuits produced by the brand are sold in major retailers such as Tesco and Asda.
This comes after United Biscuits voluntarily withdrawn its McVitie’s Toasting Waffles, after a change in the recipe to mean they now contain milk.
