Magic Light Pictures has launched a new Gruffalo Cakes range, with licensee Park Cakes.
As part of the range a 2D Terribly Tasty Gruffalo Chocolate Party Cake is now available at 278 Tesco stores. It is filled with chocolate buttercream and finished with an edible sugar decoration and has an RRP of £8.
Park Cakes is also developing a 3D moulded Gruffalo-shaped cake and tray bake to be launched later this year.

The Gruffalo brand is based on the best selling books The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
Park Cakes, based in Oldham and Bolton, has an extensive portfolio that includes cakes, desserts, pies, mini bites, celebration cakes, whole cakes and chocolate creations for all the major retailers in the UK, including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Marks & Spencer.
