There are places remaining on a trip to Frankfurt, Germany with the Worshipful Company of Bakers. 

The five-day trip starts with delegates assembling on Monday 21 September at the airport hotel before departing for Germany on 22 September.

Delegates will be taken to the Akademie Weinheim to learn how to make German breads and cakes, as well as enjoying a bakery visit.

The trip costs £1,250+VAT (£1,500) and applications to purchase a place are considered on a first-come first-served basis. Flights are included, along with tuition fees and course book, four nights of accommodation and a full set of baker’s whites (not including shoes).

Travelling expenses to and from London, travel insurance and any subsistence expenses incurred after returning to the London airport are not included.

Delegates must have a signed statement from their college and/or employer upon application, confirming they have agreed. They must also represent the Worshipful Company of Bakers, UK and Irish baking industry and their colleges or companies by maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Written reports of the trip must also be completed and sent to clerk@bakers.co.uk by 10 October.
