Burton’s Biscuit Company has added three new products to its range of Cadbury’s Christmas Biscuits for 2015.

This year’s range comprises nine SKUs including: newcomers Cadbury Delights (MRSP £1.79) a chocolate biscuit in a single layer carton; Cadbury Milk Fingers Twin pack (MRSP £3.78); and a Cadbury Dairy Milk Cracker (MRSP £5), which is a novelty Christmas cracker-style carton with Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscuits inside.

A number of festive favourites will return with new assortments, including the Cadbury Occasions Carton (MRSP £4), which has seen an 85% sales increase year-on-year, according to Burton’s internal data, and Cadbury’s best-selling chocolate assortment tin, the Cadbury Christmas Jumper Tin (MRSP £7), up 28% year-on-year, according to Nielsen data.

Cadbury Mini Fingers and Mini Animals Novelty Tubes are also back for 2015.

David Costello, head of customer category management at Burton’s Biscuit Company, said: “Shoppers tell us that Christmas isn’t Christmas without the Cadbury biscuit tin. With this year’s range we are giving people nostalgic treats that continue to delight, while also offering something new to excite consumers during the festive season.

“Christmas is a peak sales period for Cadbury biscuits, with £95m spent on Seasonal Sweet biscuits in 2014 alone [Nielsen Scan Track 16 w/e 03.01.2015]. We would urge retailers to stock up on these much-loved beacon brands that shoppers will be looking for this year, to capitalise on a major profit-boosting opportunity.”
