Gluten-free cake firm secures Amazon deal

Gluten Free Goodies brand SIN has signed a deal with Amazon to sell its ‘Little Black Boxes’ of quality cake online.

Currently the 80g boxes are available on Amazon for the price of £6.95, but soon SIN will be offering single-serve boxes of 40g as it continues to grow as a brand. Products on sale include Chocolate Orange Brownies, Fruit Cake and Ginger Cake.

A unique selling point for the brand is the ‘Little Black Box’ itself, which is not only stylish but allows the cake to stay moist and well protected throughout its journey. Not only that, the product is able to remain contamination-free from any other gluten products from the production line all the way to its final destination.

SIN has a simple promise with its baking: taste and pleasure first, gluten-free second. Made with only the best ingredients, the brand now sells in the foodservice, café and travel industries, with one of its high profile clients being British Airways.

SIN founder Denise Thomas was diagnosed as gluten-intolerant back in 2008 and was frustrated at the lack of gluten-free cake options available for sufferers. Like many others, she decided to develop her own recipes and SIN was created. Her business grew and the brand soon became endorsed by the Coeliac Society. It has also won Great Taste awards.
