New maple syrup in industry-friendly packaging

Pure Maple, the new 100% pure Grade A Canadian maple syrup, has launched a new convenient Bag in a Box specifically for the foodservice and bakery sectors.

Unlike a traditional maple syrup bucket or tub that needs to be refrigerated once opened, the Bag in a Box comes with an airtight multilayer inner bag to extend shelf-life. As a result, once opened, the syrup can be kept for one month at ambient temperature, and up to six months in a cold store.

The non-drip tap means operators can also dispense the exact amount of product required with no waste or mess. The packaging can also be disassembled and recycled.

Pure Maple is the first maple syrup brand available in the UK to adopt the newly revised World Maple Syrup grading system from the International Maple Syrup Institute.

flavour and translucence

Graded using a combination of the flavour and translucence of the syrup, the lighter maple syrup grades are produced earlier in the harvesting season when the weather is colder, while the darker grades merge later in the year when the weather is warmer.

Pure Maple is available to caterers and bakers in a Bag in a Box in two flavours: Original Robust Taste (dark), and Original Strong Taste (very dark).

Pure Maple is free of colourings and artificial flavours, and is not diluted with cane sugar, corn syrup or carob syrup.
