Burton’s Biscuits is relaunching its Cadbury Special Occasions biscuit range in a new pack format, designed for convenience.

The move will see boxes of Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Crunchie and Cadbury Wispa move from a tray format to four self-contained portion packs of two biscuits.

Due for launch in March, the move is designed to increase convenience for consumers looking to carry a snack when on-the-go.

David Costello, Burton’s Biscuits head of category and shopper management, said: “Demand for biscuits that can be eaten out of home, or on the move, is rising sharply. Introducing Cadbury Special Occasions in an on-the-go portion pack format will enable people to enjoy some of Britain’s best-loved biscuit brands in a highly convenient format.

“The portion packs performed well in consumer research, with shoppers identifying the benefits of improved portion control and the opportunity to enjoy these household favourites when and where they choose.”

Burton’s Biscuits recently announced it was to relaunch its Cadbury Fingers range in three new pack sizes.
