New ad campaign for Bahlsen

German biscuit brand Bahlsen is set to air a £5m UK television campaign from 18 April.

The advert is for the brand’s Choco Leibniz range, and has a murder mystery theme. It will run from 18 April to 22 May across channels including ITV, Channel 4, Film4, ITV3 and Sky Living.

It depicts a murder-mystery scenario and features the strapline “Choco Leibniz, it’s not just a biscuit, it’s a Bahlsen”.

The brand expects the advert to reach 38.3 million viewers. A micro-site, Biscuitcase.co.uk, will also form part of the campaign. The site invites visitors to enter a whodunnit-style competition for a chance to win a weekend away.

Julien Lacrampe, Bahlsen’s trade marketing manager, said: “We are thrilled to share Bahlsen’s most exciting ATL campaign to date. We want as many people as possible to try and enjoy our delicious biscuits, and this fantastic campaign is a significant step on this path.”
