Cuckoo’s Bakery unveils ice cream-flavoured cupcake range

Edinburgh-based business Cuckoo’s Bakery has launched a cupcake range inspired by some of Britain’s iconic ice cream and ice lolly brands.

The six-strong summer cupcake range comprises The Fab, Double Caramel Magnum, Solero Exotic, Raspberry & White Chocolate Ripple, Ninety-Nine and Twister.

Individual cupcakes are available in Cuckoo’s stores on Dundas Street and Bruntsfield Place in Edinburgh for £3.00, and boxes can be bought in-store or online for £18.

Husband and wife duo Thomas and Joanna Partridge bought Cuckoo’s Bakery in June 2017 and aimed to bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the business.

“We are really excited to launch our first range of seasonal cupcakes as the new owners of Cuckoo’s Bakery,” said co-owner Thomas Partridge. “There’s nothing that celebrates British summer quite like the classic iced treats we all know and love, and we’ve recreated them with our summer cupcake range.”

Cuckoo’s Bakery specialise in uniquely designed cupcakes and celebration layer cakes, with only locally sourced ingredients used to craft its cakes, said the firm.
