Gluten-free brand Mrs Crimble’s is rolling out its first sharing tub – a 12-portion pack of Choc Macaroons.
The resealable tub of bite-sized macaroons is available in Tesco stores this month with an RSP of £3 for 180g. It joins Mrs Crimble’s expanding range of Choc Macaroons, including a single-serve jumbo product and a six-pack tray.
“Gluten-free products should taste good enough that you want to share them with friends and family and enjoy them on social occasions; that’s why we always strive to meet the needs of our fans,” said Rebecca Vercoe, Mrs Crimble’s brand controller at Wessanen UK.
“Our macaroons continue to perform well in all retail channels. The new sharing tub presents the perfect opportunity for retailers to bolster their cake offering, especially as the winter party season approaches,” Vercoe added.
The brand was acquired by Wessanen last year, joining the likes of Clipper tea, Kallø rice cakes and Whole Earth peanut butter as part of its portfolio. Mrs Crimble’s rolled out a new look in July.
