Gallery: Greggs reveals its festive menu

Greggs has unveiled its sweet and savoury Christmas menu that will feature nine new baked products.

Available on 9 November in all Greggs outlets, the savoury range includes:

  • Christmas Lunch Sandwich – 495 calories (£3.00): the sandwich combines slices of turkey with pork, onion & sage stuffing, smoky sweetcure bacon and cranberry & port sauce, spinach leaves and mayonnaise on malted bread.
  • Christmas Lunch Toastie – 516 calories (£3.00): this is made using sliced turkey with pork, onion & sage stuffing, smoky sweetcure bacon, cranberry & port sauce in white bread topped with béchamel sauce, grated edam and mature Cheddar cheese.
  • Festive Bake – 451 calories (£1.50): the festive bake is back once again this Christmas, encased in golden puff pastry with a crumb topping, the bake will contain chicken breast, sage & onion stuffing, sweetcure bacon and sage & cranberry sauce.
  • Turkey, Bacon and Cranberry Roll – 300 calories (£1.00): the roll has a combination of flavours, including turkey breast with pieces of sweetcure bacon and dried cranberries, wrapped in puff pastry.

As part of the Christmas launch, the bakery chain will be giving away 1,200 of its Festive Bakes for free across 12 major UK cities from 11:30am tomorrow (8 November).

Rolling out from the 20 November, the sweet range will comprise:

    • Christmas Pudding Biscuit – 314 calories (£0.85): this chocolate festive flavoured biscuit will be covered with milk and white chocolate coatings with a sugar holly decoration.
    • Gingerbread Muffin – 383 calories (£1.00): the muffin will contain vanilla-flavoured crème centre, caramel topping and sugar star decoration.
    • Christmas Tree Biscuit – 182 calories (£0.85): the biscuit will be covered with a chocolate flavour coating and decorated with sugar sprinkles and a sugarpaste star.
    • Christmas Ring Bun – 243 calories (£0.80 each or four for £2.75 for one pack): this is a combination of a vanilla-flavoured fairy bun decorated with fondant icing and hand-finished with sugar sprinkles and a festive novelty plastic ring.
    • Gold Caramel Minis – 108 calories (£1.50): the shortbread minis are topped with caramel sauce, Belgian milk chocolate and finished with edible gold dust.
    • Christmas Cake Slice – 416 calories (£1.00): this is a fruit cake with ground almonds topped with almond marzipan, apricot jam and white icing.
