Aryzta Food Solutions has completed the installation of Cuisine de France in-store bakeries across 49 Park Garage Group forecourt convenience stores.

The bakery business signed a deal with Park Garage Group in February this year to roll out the in-store bakeries, as well as self-service Seattle’s Best Coffee machines and hot food-to-go counters.

All but three of Park Garage Group’s smaller forecourts have also introduced Aryzta’s sweet treats concept, Otis, which will sit alongside Seattle’s Best Coffee machines.

Seattle’s Best Coffee offers a range of coffees made from only Fairtrade 100% Arabica beans. Customers can choose from lattes, Americanos, mochas, cappuccinos, brewed filter coffees and hot chocolate.

Hemant Tandon, operations director at Park Garage Group, said the impact had been “incredible”.

“Stores that didn’t have a food-to-go offering before have gone from nothing to taking £1,000 extra per week on food-to-go,” said Tandon. “Stocking both Otis and Cuisine de France alongside Seattle’s Best Coffee allows us to offer day-part deals – in the morning shoppers will pick up a pastry and in the afternoon they’ll pick up a doughnut or cookie while they wait for their coffee to pour.  We can’t fault Aryzta’s range and customer service.”

Aryzta recently appointed Tony Murphy as the business’ first chief people officer. He will take up the role on 1 December 2017.
