Krispy Kreme has given its Original Glazed doughnuts a festive makeover with a gingerbread glaze.
Available until 24 December, for £1.55 each, the limited-edition doughnut has a spiced gingerbread dough with a hint of cinnamon and ginger, and is topped with a gingerbread glaze.
“We’re really excited with this being the first time we have transformed both the dough and glaze to Gingerbread to bring you this festive flavour to our range,” it said on the Krispy Kreme website.
The doughnut brand is also offering consumers a chance to get their hands on free hot Gingerbread Glazed doughnuts in all its hotlight stores.
There will be a limited run available each day at 5pm in the Enfield, Shannon Corner, Bluewater and Slough stores; and 8pm in its Manchester, Bristol, Peterborough, Leeds, Gateshead, Edinburgh and Glasgow stores.
Krispy Kreme recently launched a festive doughnut range, comprising Santa Belly, Rudolf Reindeer and Festive Sprinkles.
Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed doughnuts will still be available to purchase at all of its UK stores.
