Brook launches dedicated asset disposal department

Brook Food Processing Equipment has expanded its range of services with a department specialising in asset disposal.

The equipment manufacturing and reselling company has set up a new department with dedicated personnel, logistics and a vehicle fleet.

Brook said it would be able to offer asset removal and disposal to suit the client, whether they required collection and disposal, an on-site sale/auction or another disposal method.

Somerset-based Brook, which describes itself as Europe’s largest stockist of used and refurbished bakery machinery, has created the department following a long history of purchasing surplus bakery and food processing machinery.

The company said the service it offered had increased in recent years, with Brook winning contracts to remove machinery from industrial and multiple sites during restructures and when businesses have closed down.
