Spar is recalling its Blueberry Muffins four-pack because they may contain pieces of plastic.
The product affected is the Blueberry Muffins four-pack (pictured), best before: 19/04/2019, batch code: 19049.
Spar said no more of its products or batch codes were affected.
In a statement issued to British Baker, the retailer said it takes the quality and safety of its food products very seriously, and that, as a precaution, it was recalling the Blueberry Muffins.
It added anyone who had purchased the item should return it to store for a full refund.
Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product, explainin to customers why the product is being recalled and telling them what to do if they have bought the product.
