The deadline for the 2019 Baking Industry Awards is approaching fast – so don’t delay in getting your entries in!

The awards ceremony is the biggest night in the baking industry calendar and, by winning a Baking Industry Award, your business can benefit from publicity, recognition from your peers and a massive boost for yourself and your staff.

The deadline for entries is next Monday, 29 April, so make sure you visit www.bakeryawards.co.uk now.

We will be looking for businesses at the top of their game across categories including Bakery Manufacturer of the Year, Craft Bakery Business of the Year and Supermarket Bakery Business of the Year. Other categories also recognise stand-out individuals and products.

There is no charge to enter and, once again, entries will be examined by a panel of judges, including representatives from the sponsoring company, plus an independent expert judge. They will draw up a shortlist of entrants who may, depending on the category entered, meet judges face to face, be asked to send products to the judging panel, or judged on the merit of their online entry. A representative of the British Baker team then joins each of the final judging panels to agree the winners.

If selected as a finalist, you and a partner can join us free of charge at the 2019 awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster, London.

This year’s event will feature a dazzling ‘Intergalactic’ theme, and will begin with a champagne reception, followed by a three-course dinner, then the awards ceremony itself, hosted by a celebrity presenter. And you can enjoy entertainment into the wee hours with hundreds of other bakery delegates at this premier networking event.

Entering the awards is simple, using our online system. Entries from any professional bakery business are welcome, but if you have won a Baking Industry Award last year, you may not enter the same category again.
