Fox’s Biscuits has expanded its range of Chunkie Cookie biscuits with a new variant.
The new flavour, Extremely Chocolatey Dark Chocolate, Raspberry & Hazelnut joins Extremely Chocolatey Half Coated Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate Chunk and Triple Chocolate Chunk cookies in the Chunkie Cookie range.
The manufacturer said the new flavour was free from artificial colours and preservatives, and “blends indulgent flavour combinations and textures together in one single cookie”.
The Extremely Chocolatey Dark Chocolate, Raspberry & Hazelnut cookies are available now at Tesco with an rrp of £1.65 per pack of seven.
The launch would meet shoppers’ demand for products that deliver “indulgent treats for those ‘I earned this’ and extra special moments,” said Michelle Roberts, senior brand manager at Fox’s Biscuits.
“The total cookies market has seen a growth of 10%, it’s now the fastest-growing sector in sweet biscuits, driven by standard, premium and seasonal biscuits [IRI 52 w/e 2 September 2018], making this the perfect time to launch our most indulgent cookie yet.”
