With Father’s Day fast approaching, British Baker takes a look at the limited-edition bakery products available to help celebrate on Sunday.

Morrisons

Morrisons has unveiled a limited-edition Gingerbread Prince (rsp £1) in celebration of Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day. The gingerbread is decorated with a military uniform and ginger hair. Morrisons said the biscuit had been designed to offer its customers “the chance to treat their dads like a prince”.

It is also selling a gingerbread biscuit shaped like a beer glass with a ‘Dad’ motif.

Hummingbird Bakery

Hummingbird Bakery has launched a Cupcake Gift Box, which includes Brooklyn Blackout and Red Velvet Cheesecake flavours. It is also offering whole cakes in red velvet, chocolate, vanilla and chocolate Guinness – which is new for this year. The cakes are decorated by hand and include a hand-written Happy Father’s Day message.
