Irish milling business Kells has launched a new online shop as part of its recent brand refresh.

More than 50 products – including flour, spelt and soda bread mixes, seeds, flakes and cake – can be ordered from the webshop, which is aimed at professional bakers and chefs.

B2B customers can also contact Kells via the website for bespoke options or to receive discount options, the family-run business said.

“We are delighted with the reaction from customers so far on the webshop and re-brand,” said managing director Robert Mosse.

“Our customers are busy people and the webshop is just one way to help save them time. We are always here to help customers with any queries they have and can also offer bespoke solutions for their baking needs.”

The company operates out of Co Kilkenny in a building that was built as a mill in 1501. It supplies mixes for a range of bakery goods from flour blends to bread, scones and cakes.

In May, Kells launched the Sydney Donut Mix to tackle the time-consuming process of making doughnuts. The product requires the addition of yeast and water, is ‘relatively fast to make’ and has ‘no compromise on the final result’, Mosse said at the time.
