Gloucestershire-based Janes Pantry has launched a home delivery service amid the coronavirus outbreak.

The home delivery service menu comprises popular bakery products: large white sandwich (£2.15); teacakes (£1.80/pack of three); Snail Bun (£1.50); white rolls (£1.50/pack of six); vegan sausage roll (£3/pack of two); cheese & onion pasty (£4.50/pack of two) and jam doughnut (£2.60/pack of four).

The business is also stocking staple items such as butter, cheese, breakfast cereal and eggs.

“We are looking at our range of products including our basic supermarket range and what we need to expand on to make us a one-stop shop,” said Neville Morse, managing director of Janes Pantry.

The bakery is currently working on a skeleton staff to comply with social distancing measures.

Janes Pantry’s sites in Gloucester, Churchdown and Cheltenham closed last month due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The delivery service started on 18 April and will operate from Mondays to Saturdays.
