n Bakery companies Walkers Shortbread and Honeytop Speciality Foods have been short-listed for the Food Exporter of the Year award and Small to Medium Business Food Exporter of the Year award, respectively, in the Food from Britain Awards 2007.

n Bakery and ingredients supplier Dawn Foods recently celebrated 15 years at its Evesham site with a grand celebration and a series of 15-year awards.

Carrie Barber, chief executive of the firm, was the main speaker. Gifts for loyalty and service were awarded to nine members of the Evesham team, who were celebrating 15 years with the US-based company.
