== Last orders for Food from Britain ==

Market development firm Food from Britain (FFB) which aimed to increase exports of food and drink from the UK is to cut back on its operations following the withdrawal of funding from the Department of Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). In 2007-08 Defra provided funding of £4.7m to FFB, but said this will reduce to £4m in 2008/9 and finish by 2010/11.

The Forum of Private Business (FPB) is advising smaller firms to expect some major changes to business regulations from 6 April and has practical guides to help, including the Employment Guide and Health & Safety Guide, updated annually.
