Food company Organix has launched a range of organic biscuits for children. The No Junk range is now available in Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, after initially launching in September 2008 in Morrisons and through the Ocado website.
The range includes: No Junk Organic Gingerbread Gang, Organic Orange Cookie Bites and Organic Cocoa Cookie Bites. The company has said there are more products in the pipeline.
The biscuits, which have been specifically designed for children between four and 10 years old, are made with wholegrain flour and contain no added sugar, but are naturally sweetened with grape juice. They are also free from artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated fats and additives.
Each pack also contains an eco-themed activity aimed at encouraging children to take an interest in the environment.
