Food and drink trade event IFE09 aims to bring real global innovation to its visitors at ExCeL, London. Taking place from 15-18 March 2009, the show is split into 15 different sections, covering bakery, patisserie, confectionery, drinks, and so on. In 2007, IFE attracted over 24,000 visitors, including major food buyers from the retail, foodservice, wholesale, distribution and manufacturing sectors. Of these, 9,289 visitors cited the dedicated bakery and patisserie section as being their main draw to the show.

Indulgence Patisserie is officially launching its Indulgence brand of premium frozen retail desserts at IFE09. The range includes Marbled Chocolate Truffle, Plum, Fig and Pistachio Sable and Soft Fruit and Mascarpone Cheesecake.

Delisante will be launching two new products at the event - Ham Hock, Apple & Cider Pie and Coronation Chicken Pie. These will join its recently launched Gamekeeper’s Pie, Smoked Haddock and Spinach Pie and Apricot & Ham Pithivier.

Sharpham Park will be launching new additions to its organic spelt product range, to include Sharpham Park Organic Spelt Farmhouse Granola - a mix of spelt flakes, almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

Southover Food Company will be promoting Kate’s Cakes’ You Can range of dairy, gluten, wheat-free and low-fat bars and cakes. New products to be displayed are a Dairy and Gluten-Free Fruit and Seed Bar and a Dairy-Free Muesli bar.

Château Blanc, a European supplier of traditional French bakery products, is also launching in the UK at IFE09. The firm is part of the Holder Group alongside fellow brands Paul and Ladurée. It will be launching its macaroons in various flavours, including chocolate, vanilla, lemon, raspberry, coffee and pistachio.
