CSM UK has launched a new bread concentrate, for bakers looking to make low-glycaemic index (GI) bread or rolls.

The new Arkady Multiseed Bread Concentrate is a dry mix that is added to flour, yeast and water. The concentrate is made with sunflower seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds and oat kernels, with a sweet malty flavour. It is certified as a low-GI product and has a soft texture, but a heavily seeded appearance.

David Astles, marketing manager at CSM (UK), said: "Arkady Multiseed Bread Concentrate has been developed by our team of food technologists to help bakers satisfy the consumer’s demand for healthy lifestyle products that not only taste good, but which contain healthy ingredients."

Each 12kg case holds four individual sachets.
